Travelling Along The Green Paradise

The exuberant greenery, the scent of flowers, the crystal clean air and pure waters, the birds' song and the tranquility, the caves where time stopped - this is Porechje, resembling a part of the garden of Eden

A two-day tour Skopje - Peshna - Devini kuli ("Deva's Fortress")- Slatino - Prilep - Monastery of St. Archangel Michail Varosh - Monastery of Zrze

The Belica region This region has been inhabited ever since ancient times, since the Paleolithic era, as the caves around here can prove. It is also known that the most tasteful bred was made here in Roman times that was made by using the water from the spring of salty water. In medieval times, the two sisters of Krali Marko, Deva and Peshna, lived here and Krali Marko had built towers for them the remnants of which can still be seen. And the water from the Belichka River is so pure you can drink it even in the part where it goes through the center of the village Belica. The monasteries of this region ever since early medieval times have been spiritual, educational and cultural centers.
